The
preserving of the marine environment is nowadays
commonplace in most of the western world. In many
places even a small mishap can cause severe damage
to the local environment and it may often be very
expensive.
The
basic design of the Steerprop propulsors was made
taking the environment into account. E.g. the propulsors
are equipped with the latest and most efficient
seal technology. If there is a leak in the propulsor,
it can be controlled and will not contaminate the
environment.
The
use of Steerprop CRP will improve the fuel economy,
by burning abt. 20 % less fuel, thus reducing fuel
consumption and reducing amount of exhaust gas.
