POWER RANGE

The power range has been optimised to respond to the market demand and to suit all kind of vessels, applications and operational profiles.

The suitable rpm range has been designed to suit both the medium speed and modern fast running engines that are growing in popularity amongst work boats tugs and offshore support vessels.

Electric motors may also be used as prime movers - in both horizontal and vertical installations.

The power rates shown are for reference only.
They represent the indicative continuous power rates for light duty vessels. Classification, application, operation profile, prime mover selection, or some other reason, such as ice class, may cause even drastic changes of ratings.

Steerprop Ltd. is available to assist to determine the appropriate power for each individual project.
