Second Steerprop Shipset Delivered

The second Steerprop shipset, two SP 10 CRP propulsors were delivered to Sheepswerf De Hoop Lobith in The Netherlands in late September, 2001. The propulsors have been installed installed in river cruise vessel "River Odyssey" currently under construction for the US based company Vantage. The vessel is due for delivery in March 2002.

The Steerprop SP 10 CRP propulsors comprises the dual-end contra-rotating propellers, enabling shallow draft and excellent fuel economy. The propulsors have been designed for a main engine power of 808 kW each.
