Steerprop Chosen for Brazilian Harbour Tugs

Brazilian Agriservo is currently building two harbour tugs at Erin Shipyard in Manaus. The tugs - designed by Interocean Engenharia & Shipmanagement Ltda - are purpose built to serve vessels in the largest iron ore harbour in the world, São Luis on the Brazilian north-east coast.

The two new buildings - now well underway at the shipyard - are scheduled for delivery early next year, with the Steerprop units to be delivered by end of November 2002.
