Seacor Marine Inc. recently commissioned the
Platform Supply Vessel Seacor Madison,
built at the Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. Lockport
yard.
Seacor
Madison is equipped with Steerprop SP 25 ducted
units with a propeller daimeter of 2400 mm.
The propulsion power is 2 x 1790 kW at 1600
rpm.

The propulsor delivery was made in cooperation
with Karl Senner, Inc. - the Steerprop distributor
in the USA and Mexico.
The
Steerprop units are provided with inbuilt speed
modulating clutches, enabling precise vessel
control at engine idling speed as well as dynamic
positioning.

|
The vessel has a capacity of 2300 dwt, with
170 m3 of bulk cargo and more than 6200 barrels
of mud tank capacity.
The
deck area is 6525 sq.ft.
